Babolat lists the Premura 3 as a standard fit and in our experience it runs true to size, so order your usual UK size. The forefoot is snug by design because the lateral reinforcements are there to stop your foot sliding on wide lunges. If you have a wide foot or you like room to spread your toes, go up half a size. The heel is locked in by the 3D heel design, so do not size down for a tighter feel, you will just lose toe room.
Drop is 10 mm, which is a normal court shoe height. If you are coming from a low drop running shoe it will feel a touch more cushioned at the heel. Sizes on this page are UK men's sizing.
- Matryx Micro upper: Babolat's patented woven fabric. Light, breathable and it holds its shape rather than stretching out over a season. Ventilation holes over the forefoot keep your feet cooler in long matches.
- Michelin 100% padel outsole: Designed with Michelin for padel courts, not borrowed from tennis. The 360 Flex grooves let the sole bend with your foot on split steps and lunges, and the herringbone rubber gives grip on artificial grass with sand.
- Forefoot teeth and lateral reinforcements: The Premura signature. Raised supports on the outside of the forefoot hold your foot on the platform when you push off sideways, so you are not rolling over the edge of the sole.
- 3D heel design: A moulded heel cup that locks the rear of the foot in place. Babolat quotes 7% better support than the previous Premura.
- Blast Pad system and EVA midsole: Lateral uprights around a cushioned EVA foam midsole. Absorbs impact on landings and gives some rebound on the next push.
- Ortholite Hybrid Plus Bio insole: Moulded, breathable insole made with 57% recycled content. Comfortable straight out of the box and it dries quickly.
- Ultralight tongue: Slimmed down tongue that cuts weight and stops the top of the foot feeling bulky under the laces.

Teardrop rackets balance power and control, perfect for most intermediate players. Diamond rackets are power-focused with a smaller sweet spot, best for advanced, aggressive players.
