Video overview
The Bullpadel Open Control is the simplest Bullpadel we sell: a round beginner's racket with a soft fibreglass face and a SoftEva core, for new and occasional players who want control and comfort at the lowest price.
- Shape: Round, so the sweet spot is big and central. Off-centre hits stay in play, giving you control and forgiveness.
- Level: Suits beginner players.
- Face: Fibreglass, softer and more comfortable on impact. The right choice while you develop.
- Balance: Low, handle heavy. The head feels light and quick in your hand, easy at the net.
- Weight: 360-370g, a middle-ground weight most players adapt to quickly.
- Standout: It is the same recipe as the Indiga Control, a round head, low balance, Polyglass face and SoftEva core, in a plainer build. Nothing clever, which at this stage is exactly right.
- Value: Everything you need to learn the game and nothing you do not. The Indiga Control is the step up with a carbon-reinforced frame and the Grip Zone marking. If you want a bit of power as a beginner, the Apex Power is the diamond at this level.
- Polyglass face: A fibreglass face. It flexes more than carbon on contact, so the ball feels cushioned and mishits are forgiven. The right face while you are learning.
- SoftEva core: A single soft EVA foam. It cushions every hit and takes strain off the arm. Comfort and control over power.
- Smooth surface: No texture on the face. Clean, predictable contact, which is what you want while you are learning to hit the middle.
- 360-370g, low balance: A normal adult weight with the balance towards the handle, so the round head is quick and easy to position. The frame is fibreglass with carbon reinforcement.
The Bullpadel Open Control is the ideal Padel Racket for any beginner who is wanting to play a control based game and elevate their game to the next level!

How can I guarantee next day delivery?
Order any in-stock item before our daily cut-off and we'll dispatch it the same day on a next day delivery service, free of charge. Everything listed as in stock is sitting in our warehouse ready to go, so there's no waiting on suppliers. Orders placed after the cut-off, on weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day. If you need something for a specific date, message us before ordering and we'll confirm it'll make it in time.
How do I choose the right padel racket for my skill level and playing style?
Start with your level, then your style. As a rough guide: round rackets have a big sweet spot and maximum control, ideal for beginners and defensive players. Teardrop rackets balance power and control, perfect for most intermediate players. Diamond rackets are power-focused with a smaller sweet spot, best for advanced, aggressive players. The quickest way to narrow it down is our Racket Quiz, answer a few questions about your level, style and budget and it'll recommend the best options currently in stock. You can also check out our YouTube channel where we review and test rackets on court, or just message us on WhatsApp and we'll recommend one personally.
