- Standout: Precision comes from consistency. The 3K carbon face and Multieva core barely deform on impact, and the PrismLock frame stops the head twisting, so the ball leaves the same way every time. Bullpadel rates it 5 for control.
- Value: This is a hard racket and it suits players who already hit cleanly. If you want Neuron control with a softer feel, the Neuron 02 Cloud has a fibreglass face and the softest core Bullpadel makes. If you want more punch from the same frame, the Neuron 02 Edge has a wider head and a higher balance.
- X-Tend Carbon 3K face: A tighter carbon weave than 12K and the firmest face Bullpadel makes. Very direct and very consistent, and it gives little back on a mistimed hit.
- Multieva core: Three layers of EVA foam at different densities. Hard hits reach the firmer outer layers for pace; slow touch shots stay in the softer middle for feel.
- 3D Grain surface: A textured pattern moulded into the face. It grips the ball for spin without the wear of a sand finish.
- Neuron Core: The heart is shaped to feed impact into the PrismLock frame so the head does not twist.
- PrismLock frame: A faceted frame built like a set of triangles, so it resists twisting. It is why the Neuron feels so consistent on off-centre hits.
- Air Power channel: A channel cut through the lower frame that lets air through, reducing drag so the racket comes through quicker.
- Carbon Tube frame: A frame made from woven carbon fibre. It keeps the head stable and stops it twisting on off-centre hits.
- Hesacore grip: A grip shaped with raised hexagons that spread pressure across your palm, so you can hold it lighter and tire less.
- Vibradrive: A damper in the handle that absorbs vibration before it reaches your wrist and elbow.
- Ease Vibe: Dampers in the frame that soak up vibration on impact.
- 365-375g, medium balance: Full advanced weight with the balance in the middle. Bullpadel rates it 4 for manoeuvrability, so it stays quick in hand for a racket this firm.
The Neuron is one of my favourite advanced rackets. Lightweight and one of the easiest to use high end models. Very well balanced and a firm feel.
