The Nox AT10 Genius 12K Alum XTREM 2027 is Agustin Tapia's teardrop with a different face, for advanced all-court players who want precision without giving up power.
- Shape: Teardrop, a balance of control and power that covers every part of the game.
- Level: Suits advanced players.
- Face: Carbon, firmer and more direct, turning your swing speed straight into ball speed.
- Balance: Medium, an even feel between quickness in hand and punch on the ball.
- Weight: 360-375g, a middle-ground weight most players adapt to quickly.
- Surface: A rough finish grips the ball, making slice and topspin easier to add.
- Standout: The 12K Alum XTREM face uses a rectangular weave that Nox says has half the fibre waviness of standard carbon, so the face responds the same wherever you strike it.
- Value: This versus the 18K comes down to feel, not level: Nox rates this medium-hard and the 18K medium, so this is the crisper option. Want lighter and softer? The Genius 12K Alum XTREM Lite 2027 drops to 350-360g with a softer core. Still developing? Look at the Pro Cup Soft 2027.
- Carbon 12K Alum XTREM Face: A rectangular-weave carbon that Nox says has 50% less fibre waviness than standard carbon, for a smoother, more uniform face. The aluminised finish adds stiffness and keeps it consistent as temperatures change.
- MLD Black EVA Core: A multi-layer core mixing rubber densities, so you get power on the smash and control on slower shots.
- VCS (new for 2027): An elastomer lining inside the handle that cushions impacts and vibration. Nox says it cuts wrist impact by up to 56%.
- Weight Balance: Interchangeable 2g and 4g counterweights, up to 8g in total, to set the balance for power or control. Compatible with frame protectors.
- Dual Spin Surface: A 3D texture plus a silica sand finish that grips the ball for slice and topspin.
- Refined Mould: Reworked profiles for better aerodynamics and balance through the swing.
- Carbon Frame: A full carbon frame for stiffness and durability.

Everything listed as in stock is sitting in our warehouse ready to go, so there's no waiting on suppliers. Orders placed after the cut-off, on weekends or on bank holidays are dispatched the next working day. How do I choose the right padel racket for my skill level and playing style?
Start with your level, then your style. As a rough guide: round rackets have a big sweet spot and maximum control, ideal for beginners and defensive players. Teardrop rackets balance power and control, perfect for most intermediate players. Diamond rackets are power-focused with a smaller sweet spot, best for advanced, aggressive players. The quickest way to narrow it down is our Racket Quiz, answer a few questions about your level, style and budget and it'll recommend the best options currently in stock. You can also check out our YouTube channel where we review and test rackets on court, or just message us on WhatsApp and we'll recommend one personally.
