The Pallap Velocity Star is the most versatile racket in the range: teardrop shape, medium balance, 355-360g, a 15K aluminised carbon face over an EVA 30 core, built for intermediate players who want one racket for defence and attack.

- Value: A sensible step up from a beginner frame. Compared with the Evoforce Team (£145) it is 15g heavier with a medium core, so there is more pace behind the ball; the Team is softer and quicker in hand. If you want more power, the Power Team is a diamond at the same weight for £119.
- Ultra Carbon Alu 15K face: A 15K carbon weave with aluminium treatment, made in Italy, that is uncommon at this price. It delivers solid ball speed off the face and holds up to regular play without the early wear you see on cheaper composites.
- EVA 30 core: A medium-density foam that cushions impact without going soft. You get enough feel to place the ball and enough pop to drive through it when you step in. The Evoforce Team's Puretouch 28 core is softer.
- 355-360g, medium balance: Mid-weight with the balance centred, so it is quick enough for fast net exchanges but carries more mass behind the ball than the 340-345g Evoforce Team.
- Dual carbon frame: Two layers of carbon reinforce the frame perimeter, reducing flex and extending the racket's working life even when you catch the edge on a low volley.
- SpinDriver 3D sandpaper finish: The rough surface grips the ball for extra spin on slices and topspin drives, helping you shape shots and keep them in when you swing hard.
